6 months have passed since Omega Shenron's defeat, and a new evil being known only as Malek has arisen to try and conquer Earth. The Z-Fighters are the only ones who can hope to combat this new threat. Also, a mysterious third group has appeared.

You can play either one of the Z-fighters, one of Malek's minions which you can make up, or you can create your own character to be a member of the third group.
